WOMEN OF THE HOUSE
Here's the thing...We've got a deep passion for house music and our work as professional DJs, ya dig? Yet, we often find ourselves overlooked in a male-dominated industry. So, we present to you Women of the House. A new way of experiencing art, entrepreneurship, and community through the spirit of House music. Women of the House is a production that showcases female DJs from the sunshine state of Florida. We prioritize supporting female vendors, women empowering artists, and a diverse representation of poets, musical acts, and hosts at each event.
We've got the vibes, vendors, food and drinks!! Everyone is invited to join us! Come through.

What's the event address?Cafe Hey 1540 N Franklin St, Tampa, Florida 33602

Will food and drinks be available?Yes! The café will have a limited food menu available as well as beer and wine for purchase.

Is there parking?The café has a side lot available to park for free. Street parking is also available for a fee.

Will there be seating?The inside of the café will have limited seating available (think Boiler Room setup) . However there will be table and chair setups outside the venue.

Can I smoke at the venue?Indoor smoking is prohibited. Please smoke outside, near the parking lot or away from the cafe doors.

What's the entry fee?Tickets are available via Eventbrite ($15). Each ticket purchase includes a free raffle entry for the hourly prize give-a-way.

How are the DJs selected?Women of the House DJs are selected by the development committee. Graduates of DarLuz the DJ's How to DJ101 class are given priority. DJs who have not completed the course but are experienced in spinning house music can contact us for consideration.

I'm interested in vending.Vendors are hand selected based on products that fit our brand as well as a demand for the items. We give priority to female business owners and companies that empower women. Please contact us if you're interested in vending at our next event.
